KOAC, AM 550
KOAC Radio has been on the air since the
1920's, and is one of the Northwest's
pioneer radio stations. Originally
located on the campus of Oregon Agricultural College,
now Oregon State University, KOAC is the
"Flagship" of OPB.
KOAC Radio moved to it's present site,
North of Corvallis, on part of the OSU
Experimental Farm in 1941, just prior
to the US entry into WWII.
Offices and studios are still located
on the campus of OSU.
KOAC operates with a power of 5,000 watts.
